Before travelling
Prepare one written brief for every supplier
Use the same commercial and technical requirements when comparing offers. This makes differences in MOQ, samples, packaging, documents and lead time easier to identify.
- Choose the product format and intended sales channel.
- Estimate quantity per SKU and expected launch timing.
- Define wholesale, private label, formula adjustment or custom development.
- List packaging, decoration and sustainability requirements.
- State the destination market and documents you expect suppliers to discuss.
